This remodel breathed new life into a beloved historic home while honoring the character that made it special from the start. The homeowners wanted a fresh, updated look without losing the warmth and familiarity of the original architecture, leading our team to thoughtfully balance preservation with modern liveability. Existing details, including the original fireplace insert, were retained and paired with updated millwork and more contemporary silhouettes. Throughout the home, we fully reimagined both kitchen and bathrooms with custom cabinetry, new flooring, and playful tile selections that bring personality and texture to each space. In living areas, we carefully curated furnishings that would create greater flexibility in the floor plan, utilizing swivel chairs, multifunctional benches, scaled seating, and adaptable gathering spaces. Lightened paint tones and oversized artwork complete the transformation, taking this home into the modern age in top fashion.
